Terms & Conditions

1. To participate in this campaign, introduce us to your friends, colleagues, and acquaintances working as IT professionals and automatically receive a 5,000 JPY Amazon gift card per referral. You may introduce your referral by email with their permission (please cc your referral in the e–mail), have your referral directly contact a Skillhouse staff member, or have your referral sign up on our website. If your referral has previously registered with Skillhouse, they will not be considered eligible for this campaign.
2. We will use the phone numbers and email addresses we have on file to send your Amazon card via email once your referral’s registration is complete. If the given contact information is invalid, you will lose eligibility for this campaign.
3. Please be aware it may be necessary to have your referral come our office or meet in person to complete registration. Registration is only considered complete after a registration meeting and your referral fills out our registration card. Once we complete your referral’s registration, we will issue you a 5,000 JPY Amazon gift card via e-mail.
4. Referrals must reside in Japan.
5. Referrals must have at least one year of experience as an IT professional.
6. Referrals must have worked as an IT professional within the past 2 years.
7. The registration process must be done by the registering candidates. If the introductions were made to unlimited/unknown person or persons, you will be subject to exclusion from this campaign.
8. The consequences of misrepresenting one’s personal or employment history, etc., will result in exclusion from this campaign and exclusion from future employment opportunities with Skillhouse.
9. The referral’s personal information will be used for campaign screening and qualifying purposes in addition to the regular recruitment, staffing, and employment support services we provide to all job seeking applicants. The referral’s personal information (work history) will be screened at the time of registration to determine whether the referral‘s work history meets the referral campaign participation requirements. In order to prevent the leakage of personal information, we will not, in any circumstances, share the referral’s personal information with any other individuals or organizations, nor will we answer any inquiries regarding the referral’s registration status without the referral’s permission. We will receive the referral’s permission and acknowledgement of participation in the campaign, and will provide the referral with information on campaign guidelines and procedures, as well as inform them that their personal information will be used for campaign screening and qualifying purposes in addition to the regular recruitment, staffing and employment support services we provide.
10. Personal information related to this campaign will be properly handled based on the Skillhouse Privacy Policy. We declare that as an IT engineer staffing company, we are carefully handling personal information obtained from registered candidates, clients and other relevant companies. Skillhouse uses the information in order to provide and maintain our services and business activities with clients, candidates, job seekers and our website users. Skillhouse will not disclose any personal information without the holder’s permission, except when required to do so by law. Skillhouse may collect personal information including categories of personally identifiable data. However, the data we collect is provided by the holder directly or upon consensus. We restrict access rights and implement a monitoring system to prevent any inappropriate use of Personal Information. Skillhouse set an adequate security system against any leakage or damage of Personal Information. If we face any unexpected problem regarding Personal Information, we will inform the holders of the relevant Personal Information and will take an immediate action. Skillhouse conforms to the ‘Protection of Personal Information Act　(Article 4-1)’ statutory regulations and compliance programs. We set internal rules and regulations to ensure compliance and have appointed a Chief Privacy Officer for our comprehensive training.
