A world-renowned insurance company is seeking an Information Risk Specialist. 

The candidate must have knowledge of information risk (and IT risk), cybersecurity, and the life insurance business (insurance products, services and customers, strategic objectives, business processes, systems, etc.). In addition, the candidate must have a hands-on, practical business acumen to proactively and autonomously analyze and guide the resolution of existing and emerging risks. Specifically, the candidate must have a broad understanding of the management and oversight of risk, with a focus on IT governance, cyber forensics, threat intelligence, and other cyber security measures.

Responsibilities

- Provide independent advice to first-line application owners (business owners, management, and IT) in the information (IT) risk domain and assist them in properly managing information (IT) risk.

- Maintain a defined IT security and IT governance landscape to support the entire company

- Provide expert advice on IT risk and cyber-attacks to improve cyber risk responsiveness.
