Description

A Fortune 500 Global Insurance company is looking for a talented IT Support Assistant with a good understanding of project management, progress tracking and account management.

 

Responsibilities

- Provide executive-level administrative support to IT leaders and associates

- Manage and maintain meetings, and project details; prioritizes requests to ensure sufficient time allotted in the schedule to address top priorities

- Act as a liaison with internal and external parties by facilitating communication, building rapport, and fostering relationships 

- Assist with preparation and coordination of research, data analysis, creation and delivery of correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents for leaders

- Coordinate, organize and facilitate meetings and special events, including scheduling, agenda preparation, logistical arrangements, facilitating sessions or delivering presentations

- Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies, mail distribution and maintaining files, records, and correspondence

- Assist in recruitment initiatives and onboarding of new employees, as well as offboarding of employees

- Review administrative operating practices and procedures to determine whether improvements can be made in areas such as workflow, reporting procedures, or expenditures

Required Skills

- Experience in an administrative support role; with at least 2 years supporting senior or executive leaders
- Proven experience supporting an IT function
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant job-related software applications, as well as the aptitude to rapidly learn new company-specific systems and processes.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating and editing various leadership materials and presentations with visuals and charts, and ability to analyze and incorporate data into these materials
- Strategic mindset, strong organizational and time management skills
