Description

A foreign IT services consulting firm is is looking for a strong Technical Test Engineer responsible for validating the end-to-end functionality of the S/4 HANA solution and review versus requirements.

 

Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the business analysts, process owners, and subject matter experts to thoroughly understand the functional requirements and business processes
- Communication of quality objectives to the Implementation team and the UAT Teams
- Determination/coordination of an escalation communication (route, persons, medium, etc.) with relevant stakeholders
- Review test cases and scenarios to validate the end-to-end functionality
- Participate in the review of test plans, test cases, and test scripts to provide subject matter expertise and review alignment with business needs
- Identify, document, and track functional defects found during testing, and work closely with the development team to resolve them
- Ensure that all testing activities are executed in a timely manner and in accordance with the project timeline
- Provide regular status updates and reports on the functional testing progress and quality metrics to the project leadership
- Test Data Review used for execution of Test Cases, scenarios, and reusability of test cases for Test Automation
- Review of defects in Functional defects and determine showstoppers
- Verification of Training / Knowledge Transfer to UAT Teams and preparedness for UAT execution

【Working Hours】
9:00-18:00 (Monday to Friday)  Hybrid (2 days WFH allowed)

Required Skills

- Experience in Automation testing of SaaS and/or cloud-based Enterprise applications

- Programming experience and test automation in CI/CD pipelines

- Experience in all types of testing, including unit, integration, system, functional, non-functional and performance testing

- Review test cases and scenarios to validate the end-to-end functionality of the S/4 HANA solution and review versus requirements

- Define/agree acceptance criteria of the test subproject (e.g., proof of performed regression/progression tests)

- Analysis of the test basis (documents from the requirements) regarding derivability to test cases
