A global IT services provider is looking for a strong bilingual Test Manager for the QA Team who will be responsible for test plan review and overseeing adherence to Quality Gates defined for the testing efforts in the S/4 implementation project.

Responsibilities

- The Test Manager is responsible for test plan review and overseeing adherence to Quality Gates defined for the testing efforts in the S/4 implementation project
- Review the overall test strategy and test plan for the S/4 HANA implementation, covering all testing phases (unit, integration, system, user acceptance, performance, etc.)
- Collaborate closely with the project management team, business analysts, and development teams to understand the project scope, timeline, and requirements
- Identify and review testing objectives, risks, and mitigation strategies
- Review the test organization structure, roles, and responsibilities of the test team
- Provide regular status reports on testing progress, defect trends, and risks to the project leadership and maintain a RAID Log
- Coordinate with the business users and subject matter experts for issues user acceptance testing
- Identify opportunities for test automation and oversee the implementation of automated testing framework

- Prioritization of the test object list incl. responsibilities in coordination with relevant stakeholders
- Define/agree acceptance criteria of the test subproject (e.g., proof of performed regression/progression tests)
- Ensure import of requirements into Requirements Module of ALM (e.g., name, source, author, etc.)
- Analysis of the test basis (documents from the requirements) regarding derivability to test cases
- Review of quantity structure for planned test effort (estimated test cases)
- Review the link between test cases and requirements, as well as checking test coverage
- Review of Reports and present gaps from the QA team
