Description

A Securities company affiliated with one of Japan's leading megabanks is looking for a Lead Developer.

 

Responsibilities

- As a senior system developer in the Fixed Income business, the Lead Developer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of related applications such as fixed-income and OTC derivatives trading platforms, risk management systems, or settlement systems.

- Work with business stakeholders to understand the requirements of the Fixed Income business and design solutions based on those requirements.

- Engage in key front-end or back-end development to drive automation and efficiency in fixed-income business processes.

- Participate in activities across the entire software development lifecycle to build high-quality software.

- Provide suggestions and ideas for improving development processes and coding standards.

Required Skills

- Experience in securities/financial systems development.
- Proven track record as a senior-level systems developer.
- Knowledge and experience in the fixed income business, familiar with protocols, processes, and regulations related to fixed income.
- Extensive experience in front-end development: familiarity with relevant technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc.).
- Extensive experience in back-end development: familiarity with relevant technologies (Java, C , C#, Python, etc.).

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of financial market laws and regulations
- Experience with cloud-based architectures
- Knowledge of data science and machine learning
- Experience with AWS, DevOps, etc.
- Knowledge of infrastructure such as Linux, networking, databases, etc.
