Description

Our client, a Fortune500 Global Insurance Company, is looking for a talented Senior Functional Analyst - SDCL. 

In this position, you will support projects related to front-end systems of the core systems. 

 

Responsibilities

- Work with product owner to lead user requirements gathering, scope definition/coordination

- Act as liaison between product owner and developers to clarify business requirements

- Considering solutions with related teams for business requirements

- Work closely with SCRUM Master, Product Owner, developers, and other involved team members

- Support various system development tasks (planning, testing, production deployment)

Required Skills

- Deep understanding of the software development life cycle

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience required

- Experience as a business analyst on systems development projects

- Team leadership experience

- Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiation skills

 

Preferred Skills

- Professional experience in the life insurance industry
- Consulting, partnering, facilitating, and influencing skills
- Project management skills
- General understanding of open system infrastructure shch as Windows/Linux OS, Web application server (e.g., Tomcat), RDBMS (e.g., Oracle/MS-SQL), ETL (e.g., Informatica Power Center), ESB (e.g., IBM Integration Bus)
- Experience with CI/CD deployments (e.g., Bitbucket, Bamboo, Azure DevOps)
