A fast growing global Insurance company is seeking an experienced, bilingual Senior Manager (Project Management) for managing the day to day activities of the Platform and Operations Portfolio Management team, leading a team of project managers to ensure highest level performance and delivering exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will be familiar with Project Management frameworks and industry best practices and serve as a channel for communication between project managers and key stakeholders who make strategic decisions for the projects, including acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members.

‐ Develops and implements cultural change, policies, process, procedures, standards, methods, and priorities for areas of responsibility.
‐ Selects, deploys, and promotes continual awareness of “best practices” for project management and organization change management services throughout Platform and Operations.
‐ Develops and maintains a comprehensive strategy for successful delivery and optimization of project and resource management competencies to meet the company’s long-term vision, goals, and business direction.
‐ Process owner for Project & Program Management
‐ Selects and maintains project management tools for Platform and Operations project planning, tracking, and reporting according to Platform and Operations standards.
‐ Owns the Project Management Methodology and associated training.
‐ Defines project and portfolio reporting requirements; provides portfolio reporting for stakeholders.
‐ Helps drives cross team prioritization.
‐ Supports audit needs when required.
‐ Responsible for resource allocation and planning for areas of responsibility.
‐ Coordinates and aligns department activities with business priorities and strategies.

Required Skills

‐ Experience in IT with emphasis in project management.
‐ Experience in managing projects in a complex cross functional environment through the entire project lifecycle required.
‐ Proven ability to lead.
‐ Ability to utilize multiple software delivery methodologies as required; (i.e., Agile SCRUM and Waterfall (MSF)).
‐ Proficient with MS-Project, MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-Power-Point, SharePoint, and Visio.
‐ Proven success driving change initiatives from ‘current state’ to ‘future state’.
‐ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
‐ Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
‐ Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
‐ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
‐ Demonstrated process improvement techniques.
‐ Demonstrated cultural change initiatives.
‐ BA in Business or BS required.

Preferred Skills

‐ PMP certification preferred.
