An Asset Management firm is seeking a bilingual Infrastructure Group Manager to oversee a team responsible for servers, networks, storage, cloud services, security, monitoring, and providing support to build and operate an integrated environment across worldwide office locations including Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Singapore, Hong Kong, Auckland, London, Edinburgh, and New York.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, operate, and improve our IT infrastructure (on-premises and cloud environments)
- Manage servers, networks, storage, and virtualization environments (.g., Azure)
- Implement security measures and manage vulnerabilities
- Monitor systems, respond to incidents, and troubleshoot issues
- Provide global support through collaboration with overseas offices
- Coordinate and report to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and manage team members
- Manage projects
Required Skills:
- At least 4 years of experience in building and operating servers and networks
- Practical experience in building, configuring, and operating servers, networks, Microsoft Azure, and VMware
- Experience managing teams of 3 or more members
- Strong team management and leadership skills
- Ability to create documentation, develop procedure manuals, and share knowledge
