A Global Financial and Securities firm is seeking a Lead Developer (Java and/or C#) for their Equity Front Office Apps team working closely with the front office business to modernize, develop, and maintain systems for issuing equity-linked structured notes, to increase transaction capacity and business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Leading the development team
- Communicating with users and performing requirements analysis
- Coordinating with upstream/downstream system development teams and infrastructure teams
- Designing, developing, and maintaining applications
- Conducting agile development processes
- Utilizing DevOps toolchains for build and deployment pipelines, test automation, continuous module updates, and monitoring production environments
- Reviewing deliverables such as architecture designs, source code, etc.
- Creating and executing release procedures
- Providing production system and user support
Required Skills:
- 3 years of experience developing web applications using type-safe, object-oriented programming languages such as C# or Java
- 3 years of experience in development utilizing SQL and relational databases (RDB)
- 3 years of experience working in a team-based development environment
- Strong communication skills
