A European Insurance firm is seeking a Mainframe Developer.
You will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and operational support of direct-channel and internal contract management systems. Your work will include analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, coordinating with user departments, supporting UAT, and ensuring smooth production operations.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the system components of products
- Overall development and maintenance of the company’s contract management system and other internal systems
- Analyze business requirements, conduct research, create basic designs, perform reviews, coordinate with user departments, and support UAT for system development projects
- Proposing and implementing efficiency improvements to current work
Required Skills:
- More than 5 years of experience in development experience in host-based systems (COBOL)
- More than 5 years of development experience with with IBMi (AS/400) or z/OS, communication skills with users and vendors
- More than 5 years of experience in design and development of life insurance systems
