A world’s leading Insurance service provider, is looking for a talented & bilingual Lead Security Architect to join the Security Architecture Team.
The role will lead security architecture engagements, aligning global strategies with local requirements and ensuring security reviews and controls are embedded in IT initiatives. This position will also contribute to multidomain security programs, Data security, Access controls, development of strategic and tactical security architecture efforts, designing and driving implementations to completion and serve as subject matter expert related to IT modernization/rationalization, migration of applications to cloud, across Infrastructure, Platform, and Software as a Service (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS).
The Lead Security Architect will work with Japan technology team, regional business partners, and with global security architecture leadership to ensure security, compliance, and standards of the business applications are met.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for guiding overall cybersecurity architecture, engineering and implementation of IaaS/PaaS/SaaS security for regional businesses, personnel and customers
- Strong background in design and development of security controls for enterprise and IaaS/PaaS/SaaS service models for financial business
- Sound knowledge and experience in Enterprise Architecture, Strategy and IT Security
- Develop security requirements for the business use cases and that meet global security standards
- Work with infrastructure operations, application developers, administrators, consultants and vendors to build, configure, test and implement secured solutions that meet the business needs and are aligned and consistent with IT security strategies
- Develop and implement principles of secure design within the architecture framework of the company – across IT, functions and across business lines
- Establish reference cybersecurity architectures that can be leveraged for scale and decentralized deployments to deliver the Cybersecurity controls and plan for Private and Public Cloud to support strategic business plan
- Serve as expert and provide architecture guidance across cybersecurity functional areas, which include Network, Endpoints, Data Protection, Logging, Systems/Applications/APIs, Cloud, B2B, B2C, Identity & Access Management, Operational Threats, IoT and SaaS interconnect to name a few
- Ability to lead projects through full lifecycle, including requirements gathering, architecture and design, scoping, implementation and operationalization
- Establish regional strategy for IaaS/PaaS/SaaS security management with expertise in integrating disparate systems and technologies
- Participate in defining architecture and process standards for the IaaS/PaaS/SaaS and related platforms; contribute to ongoing evolution and development of information security strategies, roadmaps and plans
- Work with the broader IT organizations to interpret policies and standards, risks assessment, ensuring policies and standards are properly followed by new and existing solutions
- Identify opportunities and outline action plans to improve existing managed service solutions
- Able to assess security architecture and able to guide secure design with local Japanese speaking teams
Required Skills:
- BS or MS in Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited university
- 10+ years’ experience in security technologies, or security engineering, or security architecture
- 3 or more years of experience with hardware and software specific to IaaS/PaaS/SaaS and multiple Cloud platforms technical support, implementation, system management and maintenance according to standard and security guidelines
- 5+ years’ experience in enterprise environment with architecture, development, cybersecurity technical competency
- Experience in information security and cloud deployment models for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings
- Experience implementing architecture frameworks (CIS Controls Framework, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CSA CSF, SABSA, TOGAF)
- Knowledge of API and AI security architecture design including common adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures

Working Style: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day work from home)
