A world’s leading Insurance service provider is looking for a Network Architect – GCP Migration to support the migration of Japan’s servers and applications to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) from a network perspective.
This includes analyzing network routing, firewalls, DNS, and load balancers to ensure a seamless migration process.
Responsibilities:
- Design enterprise grade network architecture for GCP migration (hybrid connectivity, routing, firewalls, DNS, load balancing)
- Define targetstate network blueprint aligned with global standards
- Present architecture proposals for global review and approval
- Ensure compliance with global security and governance frameworks
- Oversee vendor solution design and validate technical deliverables
- Be part of L3/L4 escalation leadership team along with Service Provider (Accenture), for any major network incidents
- Align Japan network roadmap with global cloud transformation strategy
- Drive continuous optimization of performance, cost, and resiliency
Required Skills:
- 10+ years enterprise networking experience
- Strong GCP network architecture experience
- Deep knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, DNS, proxies
- Experience in large global environments (200+ sites)
- Strong understanding of SDN (Cisco ACI, Juniper Mist, etc.)
- Proven experience designing hybrid cloud connectivity
