A world’s leading general Insurance service provider, is looking for a talented & bilingual Director – Regional Head – Japan, Application Management.

Responsibilities:
- Handle Application Support & Incident Management
- Own endto-end incident and service request management
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure quick resolution
- Work closely with L1, L2, and development teams
- Ensure issues are resolved within SLA timelines
- Lead daily production support activities
- Ensure systems are: Stable / Secure / Highperforming
- Act as the main contact between: Business users (Japan) / Regional leadership
- Communicate clearly and manage expectations
- Drive enhancements and new system capabilities
- Ensure applications remain upto-date and compliant
- Reduce risks from outdated or unsupported technologies
- Ensure compliance with: Local regulations (Japan) / Internal IT policies / Maintain proper documentation (Japanese & English)
- Vendor & Partner Management
- Team Leadership

Required Skills:
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or other relevant fields. Postgraduate qualifications are desired but not mandatory.
- 15+ years in IT, with leadership experience
- 10+ years in insurance domain (musthave)
- Production support (Claims / Underwriting systems)
- Incident management & ITIL processes
- Solid technical knowledge:
- Cloud (AWS / Azure)
- Databases (SQL / Oracle)
- OS (Linux / Windows / Mainframe)

Working Hours:  9:00 - 17:30 (Mon-Fri) 
Working Style: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day work from home) 
Holidays:  Saturday, Sunday, National Holidays, Year-end and New Year Holidays, 27 Paid Holidays every year (20 paid leaves, and 7 especial leaves)
