A world’s leading Insurance service provider, is looking for a talented & bilingual Application Manager in the Information Systems Office.
Responsibilities:
- The Application Manager maintains and operates a stable environment for the Japan's business applications
- Ensures application health in compliance with global/local governance (cybersecurity enhancements, regular application/document updates)
- As an application specialist, guides/leads vendors to ensure proper execution of BAU activities (feature development, incident management, problem management, change management, etc.)
- As an application leader, collaborate with business users, IT application development teams, and other stakeholders to prioritize BAU activities
- Manage vendor contracts and licenses
- Research new technologies and drive the introduction of new business applications
Required Skills:
- Thorough understanding of application maintenance
- Foundational knowledge of IT infrastructure and networking
- 5+ years' experience in opensystem application operation and maintenance
- 5+ years' application development experience across all development phases (requirements gathering, design, development, testing, release)
