A leading global financial services company is seeking a Digital Forensics Investigator to support the cybersecurity framework of its globally operating financial group.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze alerts, events, and incidents escalated from the CSOC (Cyber Security Operations Center)
- Conduct digital forensic investigations as needed (impact assessment, containment, and remediation)
- Act as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity threats, analysis techniques, and remediation measures
- Collaborate with Japan-based business units, the Information Security Office, and global technology teams including those in the U.S.
- Promote the use of log data, automation of detection and investigation, and improvement of incident response processes
- Support investigations into policy violations and insider risk
- Perform threat hunting based on known IoCs and threat intelligence
- Handle global cases and incidents occurring in other countries, taking ownership and leadership as required

Required Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in cybersecurity operations within a SOC or SOC-like environment (approximately 3+ years)
- Hands-on experience in digital forensics or advanced incident response
- Experience analyzing data using SIEM and EDR query languages
- Strong documentation skills, including case management and investigation reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate across different time zones and cultures
