A Global IT Service firm is seeking for an Internal Communications Specialist.
Responsibilities
- Create, write, and design diverse communication materials—including impactful PowerPoint presentations, videos, documents, newsletters, posters, digital signage, and reference guides—in both English and Japanese
- Plan, execute, and manage communication and awareness campaigns on topics such as Information Security, Privacy, AI Governance, and Data Governance, ensuring complex information is presented clearly and accessible to all staff
- Collaborate closely with executives, senior managers, and subject matter experts to gather information, align messaging, and ensure communications meet organizational objectives
- Manage and update the ISPD intranet site and other internal communication platforms (LMS, SharePoint, etc.), ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and materials, using feedback and data to drive continuous improvement
- Support projects by determining necessary communications and collaborating to develop effective communication materials
- Create or support the creation of effective presentation materials (e.g., PowerPoint) for delivery by department management
- Work on tight deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Coordinate and support the delivery of awareness events and monthly seminars as part of broader communication initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall communication strategies
- Identify opportunities to enhance communication and awareness across the organization, proactively recommending new approaches and tools
Required Skills:
- At least 3 years’ experience as a communications specialist
- Demonstrated ability to create a variety of communication materials (presentations, videos, documents, etc.) for large, diverse organizations
- Experience running communication and awareness campaigns, especially on technical or regulatory topics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese
- Experience working with executives and senior managers
- Strong cross-cultural communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure, including outside regular work hours when required
