A leading global insurance company headquartered in Europe is seeking a CLAIM Development Manager t o drive IT strategy for its Claims Services division. This position is responsible for maintaining and developing core systems and promoting IT projects. After project completion, you will serve as a member of the application development and solution delivery team, leading stable and efficient IT service delivery.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and collect requirements with business units (end users)
- Collaborate with the business analyst team to understand user requirements
- Consider system design and estimate effort based on user needs
- Design integrations with surrounding systems and collaborate with other teams
- Create and review design documents and specifications for assigned systems
- Analyze system impact for new features and modifications
- Investigate and respond to user inquiries regarding production systems
- Evaluate and decide on solutions for identified issues
- Vendor Management
- Support the full development process from development environment setup to production release
- Track progress of vendor-managed projects
- Review deliverables such as design documents and test results
- Plan and execute test automation within system development
- Promote automation to improve testing efficiency and accuracy

Required Skills
- Experience in Web development and maintenance in an Agile environment
- Practical experience in a corporate business (preferably financial or insurance industry, Guidewire Claim Center experience is a plus)
- Experience creating and reviewing design documents and specifications
- Ability to clarify requirements through documentation and ensure quality
- Experience as a team lead or in vendor management
- Experience leading external vendors from development through production release, including roles as project leader or development team leader

Working hours: Monday-Friday 9:00-18:00 
Working Style: Hybrid (daily office attendance is required for the first few months.
