A US based General Insurance firm is looking for a strong Senior Development System Analyst in the Distribution Application Team
In this role, you will support and enhance business operations through application development, with a growing emphasis on integrating Generative AI (GenAI).
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage application development initiatives in the distribution business domain
- Champion the adoption and implementation of Generative AI tools and technologies
- Collaborate effectively with internal IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver solutions
- Communicate clearly and appropriately for diverse technical and business audiences
- Independently research and evaluate emerging technologies to improve systems and user experience
- Ensure full compliance with governance, security, and regulatory standards
- Actively seek and implement continuous improvements in systems, processes, and team practices
- Contribute to a team culture built on growth mindset, innovation, collaboration, and accountability
- Take full ownership of assigned applications across their lifecycle, from consultation, design, development to testing and deployment
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ Years’ experience in IT Industry, with experience of Insurance or Finance Domain (highly desirable)
- Solid technical background in application and software development
- Broad IT knowledge across systems, integration, infrastructure, and emerging technologies
- Experience or interest in Generative AI technologies
- Experience collaborating with external vendors and cross-functional teams
- A growth mindset with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and continuously learn
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with clear, logical thinking
- Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native application architectures

Working Hours: 9:00 - 17:30 (Mon-Fri)
Working Style: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day work from home)
