A Global Financial firm is looking for a  Senior Associate - Governance, Risk & Compliance (Technology) professional. 
This role will lead and own technology risk and IT control remediation initiatives in Japan, operating at the intersection of Technology, Information Security, Risk, Audit, and the Business. 

Responsibilities:
- Reviewing audit findings, risk issues, and regulatory requirements to support remediation planning
- Assisting in defining risk-based remediation scope, including: applicable control standards, root cause analysis support, documentation of control gaps and failures, translating control gaps into clear remediation actions and tracking progress and so on. 
- Supporting accountability tracking by coordinating with IT, Security, Risk, Audit, and vendors
- Monitoring timelines, dependencies, and remediation status, and controlling delays if not escalate to senior team members
- Report on remediation progress and residual risks

Required skills:
-  8 years of experience in Governance Risk and Compliance, particularly strong with technology risk assessment
