A leading mobility technology company seeking a Principal Technical Architect to lead the end-to-end architecture and strategy for a complex, organization-wide domain migration. The role will act as the senior technical authority, define the target architecture and migration approach, and ensure a controlled migration with minimal business disruption and rollback capability.
Responsibilities:
- Architecture & Strategy: Own the migration architecture, target state and technical approach, covering Entra ID, Keycloak, SAML, OIDC, OAuth, SCIM and related identity technologies
- Technical Leadership: Act as the senior technical authority, drive key decisions, resolve complex issues and ensure engineering aligns with the agreed architecture
- Dependencies & Readiness: Assess application/identity dependencies, migration readiness and technical risks, coordinating across engineering, application owners, vendors and IDP teams
- Testing & Cutover: Validate the migration approach, define testing and acceptance criteria, and establish cutover, rollback and go/no-go procedures
- Migration & Stabilisation: Provide technical leadership through migration and post-cutover, resolving issues and transitioning the final solution to IT operations
Required Skills:
- Principal-level Enterprise / Solution Architecture experience
- Strong IAM / IDP expertise, including Entra ID, Keycloak, SAML, OIDC, OAuth, SCIM and JIT
- Proven experience delivering large-scale domain, identity, authentication or application migrations
- Strong knowledge of application dependencies, authentication/provisioning flows, cutover and rollback strategies
- Strong technical decision-making, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
