A Global IT Service firm is seeking a skilled Operations & Release Engineer to join the B2C BSS Backend Section within the B2C BSS Development Department.
You will work in a high-availability, mission-critical environment supporting a large-scale telecom platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced engineering culture.
The role involves participation in scheduled night-time maintenance and on-call rotations, while applying SRE best practices such as automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement to maintain system reliability and performance.

Responsibilities:
- Release Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute production releases, including pre-release validation and post-deployment monitoring
- Production Operations: Manage system health, monitor performance metrics, and perform troubleshooting in a high-availability environment
- Night-time Maintenance: Lead/participate in scheduled night-time production deployments and maintenance windows to ensure zero-downtime upgrades
- Incident Response: Serve as an on-call engineer to diagnose and resolve production issues, minimizing service impact
- Process Automation: Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive operational tasks and improve deployment efficiency

Required skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or System Operations.
- Proven experience managing production releases in high-traffic, distributed environments.
- Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot (for log analysis and hot-fix verification) and Linux/Unix environments.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including scheduled night-time shifts for production releases.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
