A major retail organization in Japan backed by a global investment group, is seeking a strong Network Engineer.

Responsibilities:
- Design, build, operate, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices
- Monitor network availability, performance, capacity, and stability
- Identify performance issues and implement network optimization measures
- Troubleshoot network incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Manage and implement network security controls and countermeasures
- Support network infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and improvement projects
- Coordinate with internal IT teams, vendors, and external service providers
- Maintain network architecture diagrams, operational procedures, configuration documents, and other technical documentation
- Provide technical support and guidance for network-related issues
- Contribute to improving the reliability, security, and efficiency of the company's overall IT infrastructure

Required Skills:
- 6+ years of strong experience in network infrastructure design, implementation, operation, and administration.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise network equipment, particularly Cisco and/or Juniper technologies.
- Good understanding of networking technologies and protocols
- TCP/IP // LAN/WAN // Routing and switching // DNS/DHCP // VPN // Firewalls
- Fundamental knowledge of network security and infrastructure security.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to investigate network incidents and identify root causes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Working Hours: 09:00–18:00, Monday to Friday
