A Global Financial firm is looking for Mid Career - Governance, Risk & Compliance (Technology) Professional
to support and execute technology risk and IT control remediation activities in Japan.
This role is well suited for a candidate with solid hands-on experience in IT risk, IT controls, and remediation, who is looking to broaden exposure to audit, regulatory engagement, and senior stakeholder interaction within a global financial institution.
The position offers strong learning opportunities, structured guidance from senior stakeholders, and visibility across Technology, Information Security, Risk, Audit, and Business teams.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of technology governance frameworks and IT control standards
- Conduct technology and cybersecurity risk identification and assessments across Japan operations
- Execute IT risk assessments, control testing, and remediation tracking, including issue scoping, prioritization, and closure validation
- Work closely with Technology, Information Security, Risk, Audit, and business teams to implement risk mitigation controls
- Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections, including preparation of evidence and follow-up actions
- Assist in defining and maintaining Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and compliance reporting dashboards
Required Skills:
- Minimally 8 years of experience in GRC, IT Risk, or Technology Compliance roles with 3 years’ experience conducting risk assessments, control testing, and gap analysis
