An IT Governance and Security firm is seeking a Security & Analysis Operations Engineer .
*In this position you will have an opportunity to quickly learn and use Splunk.
After getting used to the work, this position will be responsible for the operation and improvement of SIEM platforms (Splunk) that support clients’ security monitoring environments.
Main duties include modifying and tuning detection rules and alerts in Splunk, as well as extracting and analyzing log data using SPL to enhance security operations.
Responsibilities:
- Modification, adjustment, and tuning of alert and detection rules configured in the SIEM (Splunk) platform
- Extraction, aggregation, and analysis of log data using SPL
- Monitoring log review and support for incident investigations
- Organizing existing operational procedures and updating documentation
Required skills :
- Those who have experience of creating script such as data retrieval and operation
- Those who have security related engineering/operation experience and incident reporting skills
- Experience in data extraction and aggregation using RDB is preferred
- Practical experience in data analysis

Working Hours: Full flextime system (no core hours), Monday to Friday
Work Style: Fully remote within Japan, flextime system (standard working hours: 8 hours per day)
