A Global IT Service firm is looking for IT Security Staff for Information Security & Privacy Governance Department.
The Group Data Control Section establishes various types of data related operational and business processes to help ensure data is used safely.
Responsibilities:
- Data classification review process
- Explain the data classification definition and process to users
- Conduct first level review of submitted data classification
- Initiate and manage the second level review by the subject matter experts until completion
- Approve the finalized data classification and confirm its reflection in the data platform
- Conduct first level review of data access requests to ensure requests details are clear and accurate
- Support the second level review by the subject matter experts
- Support the confirmation of data ownership and data steward of data onboarding to main data platforms
- Register and maintain a data steward registry
- Setup metrics to measure quality, effectiveness and efficiency for the processes and implement improvements
- Maintain process documents up-to-date
- Train other members on the role
Required skills:
- Experience in conducting operational and business processes that involve investigation and communication with multiple stakeholders
- Experience in process documentation in English
- Experience in implementing metrics for process improvement
- Experience in working and communicating effectively with multi-national stakeholders, particularly between Japanese and non-Japanese nationals
- Good decision making, problem/conflict resolving, planning and organizing competencies
