A Global IT Service firm is seeking an IT Program Manager (Data Center & Digital Workplace Solutions) to support solutioning activities, lead customer engagements, and manage large-scale Datacenter and Digital Workplace (DWP) programs. This role will act as a key bridge between customers, sales teams, and offshore delivery units, ensuring successful solution design, transition, and program execution.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with sales teams to engage customers and finalize technical and business requirements
- Collaborate with offshore solution teams to design, position, and tailor solutions
- Present solution approaches and clearly articulate value propositions to clients
- Review and validate pricing proposals, recommending optimizations where needed
- Act as the primary solution owner and trusted advisor for assigned customers and partners
- Serve as the technical bridge between clients and offshore delivery teams
- Identify and drive additional business opportunities within existing accounts
- Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery governance
- Manage cross-location project teams, stakeholder communications, and expectations
- Monitor project progress, track deliverables, resolve escalations, and report status to leadership
Required skills:
- Strong expertise in datacenter infrastructure including servers, storage, middleware, and cloud environments
- Proven leadership experience managing datacenter implementation, operations, and transition programs
- Solid project management background in large-scale datacenter initiatives, including effort estimation and delivery governance
- Experience managing global datacenter engagements and hybrid (on-premises + cloud) environments, with cloud migration exposure preferred
- Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and operational best practices
- Demonstrated ability to lead large infrastructure and operations teams across multiple locations
- Deep understanding of Digital Workplace (DWP) technologies including PCs, Active Directory, Exchange, and Citrix
- Extensive experience managing large End-User Computing (EUC) programs and Service Desk transitions
- Knowledge of asset lifecycle management, DaaS environments, patch management, and operational controls
- Familiarity with user experience monitoring and digital employee experience tools such as NextThink, 1E, and other DEX platforms
