A global insurance company is seeking a Head of Project Management to build and lead a high-performing team that will successfully deliver the strategic project portfolio.
As Head of Project Management, you will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of projects across the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, high-quality execution, and strong governance.
You will work closely with senior leadership, including C‑level executives, as well as Transformation, Technology, and business teams, playing a critical role in driving the company’s transformation agenda.
Responsibilities:
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Project Management team (hiring, coaching, succession planning)
- Oversee the successful delivery of the project portfolio, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Establish and enhance project management frameworks, governance, and best practices
- Manage delivery risk and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards
- Act as a senior stakeholder across major initiatives, ensuring cost-effective and sustainable outcomes
- Promote organizational maturity in project management through training and capability development
- Drive strong stakeholder engagement and high levels of customer satisfaction
Required Skills:
- Proven experience leading project teams and delivering complex projects or portfolios on time, within budget, and to high quality standards (Preferred: Insurance or financial services background)
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance, and financial management, with the ability to operate effectively in complex environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strong ownership mindset and the ability to drive results under pressure
