A Global financial services firm is seeking a bilingual FinOps Engineer to be responsible for driving cloud financial management practices across our AWS estate, ensuring cost transparency, optimisation, and accountability. The role will focus on implementing and operating FinOps processes using AWS, Apptio Cloudability, and Power BI to provide actionable insights for Finance, Technology, and Product stakeholders. 

Responsibilities:
- Implement, maintain, and evolve FinOps practices aligned to the FinOps Foundation framework (Inform, Optimise, Operate)
- Operate and manage Cloudability to provide cost visibility, reporting, anomaly detection, and savings recommendations
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualise cloud cost, usage, budget adherence, and allocation by business unit, application, or service
- Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and Engineering teams to enable accurate chargeback/showback and budget forecasting
- Drive AWS cost optimisation initiatives, including Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, Convertible RIs, Spot usage, right-sizing, and storage tiering
- Partner with engineering teams to design cost-aware architectures and implement tagging standards for accurate allocation
- Monitor and manage cloud spend anomalies and ensure timely remediation
- Provide training, guidance, and documentation to develop FinOps awareness across stakeholders
- Support month-end and quarter-end financial processes, including accruals, forecasting, and reconciliation activities
- Contribute to the design of FinOps KPIs, metrics, and governance processes to ensure maturity and continual improvement

Required Skills:
- Strong language skills and ability to interface with  all stakeholders across the organization including “C-Class”
- Experience in Enterprise class IT Infrastructure environments, especially cloud related
- Knowledge of cloud architecture fundamentals and ability to collaborate with engineers on cost-efficient designs
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend solutions
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, and Technology

Working Hours:  08:40 – 17:40
Workstyle: By principle, it will be 1 day working in office, 4 days working from home (Depending on nature of the job, it will be decided by department head)
