We are seeking an ETL Engineer to support the design, development, and operation of enterprise data integration platforms for a leading international life insurance company.
In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining data integration solutions that enable business intelligence, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives across the organization. You will work closely with product teams, business stakeholders, application teams, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable data solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter
- Support enhancement and optimization of existing ETL processes
- Participate in cloud migration initiatives for ETL platforms and data integration services
- Analyze and rationalize existing PowerCenter assets
- Support migration to Informatica Cloud Data Integration
- Design and implement data integration solutions between enterprise systems
- Create data mappings and transformation logic for business requirements
- Develop, monitor, and optimize large-scale batch processing solutions
- Collaborate with business users, product teams, application teams, and infrastructure teams
- Prepare technical documentation and provide technical guidance to stakeholders
- Coordinate with external vendors and review deliverables
- Monitor production jobs, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting Informatica ETL solutions
- Strong experience in data integration, data modeling, SQL development, and performance tuning
- Experience with Oracle Database and/or Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience developing, managing, or migrating solutions in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders
- Advanced Japanese language proficiency
- Advanced English language proficiency
