A Global and well-known brand retail is looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist. Because the team operates with a lean structure, responsibilities are not divided into separate SOC, infrastructure security, or application security roles. Instead, we seek a cyber security generalist who can work across multiple security domains, collaborate closely with internal application and IT teams, and coordinate effectively with global security teams.
Responsibilities:
- Understand internal IT environments (cloud platforms, applications, networks, endpoints) and support incident analysis in collaboration with the Global SOC
- Analyze security alerts, logs, and events to determine impact, root cause, and appropriate response actions
- Act as a technical point of contact between the Global SOC, U.S. security teams, and Japan stakeholders
- Support vulnerability patching activities by coordinating with relevant application and infrastructure teams
- Support vulnerability management activities across internal and external applications, middleware, and operating systems
- Coordinate regular web and mobile application penetration testing with Japan and U.S. teams, including remediation follow-up
- Provide security engineering input for system introductions and new application development
- Assess security risks and provide practical, engineering-focused recommendations to internal teams
- Collaborate with application teams during design reviews led by the U.S. Security Division
- Contribute to security awareness initiatives and internal education activities
Required skills:
- 5 years experience with hands-on cybersecurity engineer (wide range of experience cyber security roles including corporate security team, SOC, security engineering, with experience to incidence handling or vulnerability management or security operations)
- Cultural fit is the most important requirement, example senior candidate who try to impose their own way of working may not be suitable as candidate needs to try to align with and empathize with company’s value.
- Working knowledge of cloud & enterprise IT (AWS/ Azure)

Working Hours: 9:00 - 18:00 (Mon-Fri)
Working Style: Remote work is allowed but candidate needs to have the flexibility to come back to HQ to work in office if required.
