A Global IT Service firm is seeking an Application Architect / Engineer who will play a key role in the core team responsible for designing next-generation integrated platform for affiliate services. This position involves analyzing existing systems, defining the new platform architecture, and creating a robust migration strategy.

Responsibilities:
- System Analysis: Assess current affiliate service systems to identify capabilities, gaps, and improvement areas
- Architecture Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define a scalable, secure, and maintainable architecture for the new platform
- Technical Specifications: Create detailed specifications covering system components, data models, interfaces, and technology stacks
- Migration Planning: Develop an efficient migration strategy to transition from existing systems with minimal disruption and full data integrity
- Technology Evaluation: Research and assess new tools, technologies, and patterns to ensure best practices and long-term sustainability

Required Skills:
- 10+ years of software development experience, including solution or technical architecture
- Strong expertise in Java
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and containerized applications
- Proven experience in cloud architecture and design (GCP or AWS preferred)
- Strong knowledge of UML and modeling methodologies
- Expertise in API design and implementation
- Understanding of software quality assurance principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Technical mindset with attention to detail
- Proactive, self-motivated, and ownership-driven personality
