A Global Digital Marketing Solutions Company is seeking an Salesforce Application Engineer to be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of internally developed business systems, third-party systems and cloud service systems, mainly supporting sales and back-office departments (finance and accounting, human resources, general affairs, legal, operations, etc.). The current Application team consists of members from Japan, Hong Kong, China etc and primarily they work with Salesforce, Workday and open systems.
Responsibilities:
- This engineering position is primarily responsible for the development, operation and maintenance of employee-facing systems
- The position will be responsible for understanding requirements and issues, architectural design, design, development, testing, release, operation and maintenance, and all other areas
- The main target business areas are sales, human resources, accounting and finance, and operations, supporting a wide range of business functions
- Cloud solutions Salesforce, Workday, Concur and some open applications
- In the future, in addition to the above inter-system integration, data integration with our core systems will be proposed and implemented to enable employees to work more efficiently
- Design and develop the system, always taking into account non-functional requirements and security
Required skills:
- Over 1 year of experience in software design and development
- Over 3 years of experience delivering systems using Salesforce (a total of 3+ years across any of the following: requirements definition, design, No/Low/Pro code development, or operations and maintenance)
- Experience using version control tools (e.g., Git, Bitbucket)
- Development experience using tools such as VSC and SF CLI
- Ability to explain system and technical matters in an easy-to-understand manner to the business side
- Understanding of Japanese business culture and system quality requirements
