A Global IT Service firm is looking for an Android Engineer.  As a Mid-Level Android Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose 
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Implement and maintain applications using MVVM with Clean Architecture
- Integrate applications with RESTful APIs using Retrofit
- Write unit tests to ensure code robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process
- Participate in the full lifecycle development process, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment
- Work within an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software

Required skills:
- 5+ years of proven software development experience and Android skills development
- Proven working experience in Android app development and have published at least one original Android app
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Gitpub
- Experience with Android SDK and working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs, particularly Retrofit
- Solid understanding of MVVM architecture and Clean Architecture principles
- Experience with unit testing frameworks and practices
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle
