A major retail brand is looking for a strong AI Engineer  to support the company’s digital transformation by designing and implementing AI-driven solutions for retail operations and customer services.
The engineer will work with business teams and IT stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI, automation, and data-driven solutions can improve operational efficiency across systems such as POS, inventory management, customer analytics, and e-commerce platforms.

Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities to apply AI and machine learning solutions to improve retail operations and customer experience
- Gather business requirements and translate them into AI/ML solution designs
- Develop and deploy AI models, automation tools, or data-driven applications
- Integrate AI solutions with existing enterprise systems (POS, inventory, CRM, e-commerce platforms)
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver AI initiatives
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) to build scalable AI solutions
- Create technical documentation and system design documents in Japanese
- Support ongoing improvement of AI solutions through monitoring and optimization

Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Engineering roles
- Experience developing solutions using Python or similar programming languages
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks or tools (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.)
- Experience working with data pipelines, APIs, and system integrations
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Ability to gather requirements and communicate technical solutions with stakeholders
- Ability to read and write technical documents in Japanese

Working Hours: 09:00–18:00, Monday to Friday
Working Style: 5 days per week in the office
