Description
A Leading Medical firm is seeking an IT Service Delivery - Network Services, The role focuses on the design, operation, standardization, and automation of infrastructure technologies including cloud, network, and authentication management systems, while also supporting the development of a global IT infrastructure framework. As part of the Japan Service Delivery Team, you will collaborate closely with global network teams and policies to ensure stable network operations while driving continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, implement, test, and transition network-related projects into operations
- Support WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewall, and cloud connectivity initiatives aligned with global standards
- Drive regional network solutions while ensuring alignment with global policies and standardization efforts
- Promote infrastructure simplification, standardization, automation, and operational efficiency improvements
- Support stable network operations based on ITIL processes
- Work closely with service delivery members and external vendors to maintain operational stability
- Focus primarily on infrastructure transformation and continuous improvement initiatives rather than day-to-day operations
- Coordinate with external vendors and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) for project execution
- Manage multiple parallel infrastructure projects simultaneously
- Monitor vendor performance and SLA compliance
- Support contract management and cost optimization initiatives
- Prepare and maintain project documentation and operational procedures
- Ensure smooth transition of completed projects to operations teams and outsourced service providers
- Define and validate operational acceptance criteria for project handovers
Required skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading network-related projects (including design and implementation experience with WAN/LAN/WLAN, SD-WAN, etc.)
- Knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls and VPNs
- Knowledge of ITIL and experience in service operations and change management
