A Global Life Insurance is looking for a talented Ops Lead Engineer/ SRE for their Production operations.

Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day operations and maintenance of business applications
- Handle incident response (Level 1 & 2), troubleshoot issues, and propose permanent fixes
- Design, implement, and improve pipelines using Jenkins, Jira, GitHub Actions, etc.
- Automate manual operational tasks (deployment, data extraction, batch execution, etc.)
- Develop and implement improvement plans addressing internal audit findings and Group
- Design metrics, logs, and alerts using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, CloudWatch, and Splunk
- Tune alerts and drive improvements to reduce MTTR
- Strong commitment to Operate and configure applications on AWS, OpenShift, and managed public IaaS
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams on networking (DNS, load balancers, firewalls) and certificate updates
- Create and maintain Runbooks, KEDB, and Wiki documentation
- Participate in Agile development (Scrum/Kanban), manage tasks, and share progress within the team
- Provide technical support and mentoring to team members and partners
- Stakeholder Collaboration

Required Skills:
- 3+ years in IT operations, SRE, or DevOps
- Strong interest in troubleshooting and driving issues through to resolution
- Self-driven, proactive problem-solving attitude
- Team-oriented with strong collaboration and knowledge-sharing mindset
- Experience with Linux (RHEL-based) or Windows Server operations
- Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins for build/deploy
- Practical experience with Git (branching, pull requests)
- Automation development using at least one scripting/language (Shell, Python, Groovy, PowerShell, Node.js, etc.)
- Basic knowledge/experience with AWS and containers (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Experience with at least one monitoring/logging tool (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace)
- Understanding of CI/CD and software engineering practices (e.g., Git flow)
- Experience with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and task management tools like Jira
