Description
A global and one of the world’s largest Insurance Service provider is looking for a strong bilingual leader for the Manager, Lead Business System Analyst – Data Management, within Japan Information Technology Department.
This role will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, helping design scalable, cloud-based data solutions across enterprise insurance platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and define scalable data solutions aligned with business and technical requirements
- Lead requirements gathering, scope management, and user expectation management
- Provide project effort estimations and ongoing forecasting support
- Participate in the design of enterprise data architecture across Hadoop and Azure-based data platforms
- Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Perform data profiling, system analysis, and validation of enterprise data models
- Analyze metadata, source systems, data flows, and functional dependencies
- Support enterprise data environments utilizing Azure Synapse, CosmosDB, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and ADLS
- Collaborate with engineers and developers to define system capabilities, interfaces, and performance requirements
- Support ETL, API integrations, stream data processing, and data transformation initiatives
- Maintain data quality, governance, lineage, and master data management standards
- Manage relationships between business and IT stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external/internal partners
- Contribute to training materials, user guides, and release documentation
- Support ongoing operational improvements and enterprise reporting initiatives
Required Skills:
- 7+ years as a Business Systems Analyst or Similar roles
- Knowledge of SQL, Data Structure, Data Modeling and system/data analytics
- Exposure to Azure Data Tech (suh as Azure Synapse, CosmoDB, Azure Functions, Service Bus and ADLS or equivalent)

Working Hours: 9:00 - 18:00 (Mon-Fri)
Working Style: 3 days’ work in office, and 2 days’ work from home
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, National Holidays, Year-end and New Year Holidays, Paid Holidays
