Description
A global and one of the world’s largest insurance providers is looking for a strong bilingual professional for a Voice Operations / Support Engineer position within the Japan Information Technology Department.
Responsibilities:
- Support daily operations of enterprise voice and telephony systems
- Monitor system health, availability, and ensure service stability
- Perform routine maintenance and operational checks
- Handle incidents, restore services, and troubleshoot voice-related issues
- Analyze recurring issues, identify root causes, and implement improvements
- Develop and maintain operational procedures and documentation
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and improve support workflows
- Operate within ITSM frameworks, supporting SLA-driven services and ITIL processes
- Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and service continuity
- Collaborate across teams and provide support during critical incidents, including off-hours when required
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of overall professional experience
- Strong background in technical support, operations, or user support
- Experience with incident response and troubleshooting environments
- Problem-solving capability and analytical thinking
- Understanding of IT infrastructure or end-user support environments
- Ability to work within structured operational processes

Working Hours: 9:00 - 18:00 (Mon-Fri)
Working Style: 3 days’ work in office, and 2 days’ work from home
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, National Holidays, Year-end and New Year Holidays, Paid Holidays
