A global smart infrastructure technology company is seeking an experienced Test Engineer (H/W & Application) to join their dynamic Japan team.

Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate with cross-teams of Smart Meters, Comms & Network Elements
- Provide necessary support for Firmware/Software updating in Comms, Meters, Routers & Collector. Work in fast paced environment with minimal supervision
- Perform electric meter module installations on energized equipment, residential gas module battery changes
- Owns software test environments, hardware and testing lab to support the deployment organization
- Using SDLC/ STLC process and its implementation in the projects and its importance
- Documenting test artifacts: Develop & deliver project test plan/strategy, test cases, defect reporting, test reports, progress reports, proposals, technical documentations & presentations
- Using of troubleshooting tools and deployment procedures of rapidly evolving Smart Grid products and solutions
- Document and train others on commonly used tools, procedures, and troubleshooting techniques used while deploying solution
- Proactively follow through on all technical issues worked to ensure items are addressed accurately and promptly
- Support software installation or hardware commissioning activities for new releases and provide post-implementation support
- Participate in response teams for root cause analysis of system problems identified in the deployment of company solutions
- Identify the quality KPI’s and ensure the compliance at each stage
- Supports and adheres to Company’s core values, Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy
- Performs other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required
- Supports and adheres to Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy. Represents Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both internal and external customers

Required Skills:
- Thorough knowledge of Quality Assurance processes
- Experience in hardware testing
- Good understanding of SDLC/ STLC process and its implementation in the projects and its importance

Working Hours : 9:00~18:00, Mon-Fri
Work Location:  Working in below 3 locations, depending on the business situation (Nishidai, Hasuda / Saitama, Marunouchi)
Working Style: Office (5days per week)
