Description
A global technology leader in legal, tax, compliance, and risk management information solutions is seeking a Technical Lead to join their Japan legal research product organization.
Responsibility:
- Define and execute AI technology strategies aligned with the business's objectives and product roadmap
- Lead technical decision-making, architecture design, and technology selection for AI-powered platforms
- Design multi-component AI pipelines supporting complex reasoning, summarization, and question-answering capabilities
- Provide technical guidance on web application development, system operations, security, and performance optimization
- Review code, architecture, and technical designs to ensure engineering quality
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineers and development teams
- Lead cross-functional collaboration between product, engineering, business stakeholders, and external technology partners
- Collaborate with global technical teams to deliver enterprise-level AI solutions
- Facilitate knowledge sharing through technical forums, documentation, and internal communities
- Improve development processes, engineering efficiency, and team productivity
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years in AI/ML engineering or technical project leadership
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, AI Agent frameworks, and vector databases
- Experience with DevOps/CI-CD and strong grasp of cloud architecture
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
