An European Asset Management firm is looking for a Systems Administrator  for the IT & Logistics Department 
As a Systems Administrator you will be required to work closely with the business users in Tokyo with occasional trips to Osaka Office

Responsibilities:
- Support users with the usage and troubleshooting of programs, applications, office equipment, and helpdesk issues
- Carry out daily, weekly, and regular contingency routines and assigned IT tasks
- Coordinate with system vendors, suppliers, and service providers for maintenance, troubleshooting, and system upgrades
- Maintain and upgrade applications, including staging and package deployment on workstations, in coordination with local and global IT teams
- Coordinate with IT teams at headquarters (Geneva, Switzerland) for the implementation and deployment of groupstandard applications and tools, and assist in troubleshooting installed applications
- Maintain and upgrade global systems, including staging and package deployment on workstations and servers following Central IT directives
- Ensure all servers and networking equipment remain fully operational
- Maintain documentation of IT infrastructure and inventory
- Provide regular reports to local management and headquarters as required
- Create support, incident, and change‑request tickets
- Procure IT products and services according to management requests
- Support business systems development when required or not engaged in main duties
- Maintain and upgrade local systems, including server administration and client computers, in accordance with vendor specifications
- Handle telephone inquiries on the main line and reception line
- Manage facility services and maintenance, including lighting, electrical systems, cleaning, workplace reconfigurations, fire safety, and asset inventory

Required Skills:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in system administration and enduser support
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities, with good documentation skills
- Responsible, thorough, and resourceful
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexible (including availability outside normal working hours)
- Friendly, committed, and a good team player
- Able to adapt quickly and easily
