A Life Insurance Japan is looking for a talented Senior Program Manager to lead platform modernization program to replace and modernize its core insurance and non-core applications currently hosted on Legacy Mainframe environment.
You will play a key role in driving digital innovation within a traditionally conservative environment, helping the organization become more agile and competitive.

Required Skills:
- Experience: 8–12 years of program management experience in large-scale technology-enabled programs; 5+ years in senior program management roles, ideally within insurance or financial services.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of core insurance processes (policy administration, billing, claims) and regulatory considerations relevant to Japan market (FSA).
- Methodologies: Proficiency in both Agile and traditional/project-driven methodologies; proven ability to run a PMO and manage multi-method programs.
- Tools: Experienced with collaboration (Jira/Confluence), reporting (Power BI) and governance tools.
- Platform: Experience delivering core insurance modernization programs, including data migration, platform consolidation, and vendor management.
- Leadership and Communication: Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and communicate effectively with executives and diverse stakeholders; strong facilitation and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability / Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills / Financial acumen and strong vendor management capabilities.
- Risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making under ambiguity / Excellent written and verbal communication; adept at executive-level storytelling.
- Change management, user adoption, and benefits realization focus / Adaptability, resilience, and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

Working Hours:  9:00 - 17:30 (Mon-Fri) 
Working Style: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day work from home) 
Holidays:  Saturday, Sunday, National Holidays, Year-end and New Year Holidays, 27 Paid Holidays every year (20 paid leaves, and 7 especial leaves)
