Description
A Leading Medical firm is looking for a Senior Network Engineer under the direct supervision of the Japan Infrastructure Lead.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of regional networks (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/Voice/SD-WAN/Cloud connections)
- Ensure the health, security, and performance of advanced network infrastructure, including manufacturing sites (with PLCs)
- Deploy global standards and best practices across the region
- Manage SLAs/KPIs and optimize performance and maintenance of network devices (firewalls, switches, routers, etc.)
- Respond to major incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and manage vendors
- Adhere to and implement IT security standards and access control policies
- Business trips: there is possibility of travelling overseas to 50 locations across Japan, china, Vietnam and other regions
Required Skills:
- Fluent Japanese Speaker, business level English (ability to convey technical requirements to global team)
- Minimal 5 years’ experience in Practical experience in network design, operation, and maintenance based on global standards and governance
- Need to be able to handle complex network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WiFi/Voice/ SD-WAN/Cloud) in an enterprise company
- Good communication skills, has the experience to communicate with both regional team and global team
