Japan's leading energy companies, is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead enterprise IT implementation and digital transformation initiatives across the Group
Responsibilities:
- IT Project Management: Lead and manage enterprise IT projects, including core business system implementations, system modernization, and new SaaS solution deployments
-Project Planning & Governance: Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, issues, deliverables, and PMO activities to ensure successful delivery
-Business Requirements & Solution Planning: Work with business departments to understand operational challenges, gather requirements, and propose effective IT solutions
-Digital Transformation: Support the planning and execution of digitalization initiatives across COSMO Energy Group companies
-Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Coordinate with internal business users, IT teams, external vendors, and technology partners throughout project delivery
-Technology Adoption: Evaluate and promote new IT technologies, cloud/SaaS solutions, and AI-enabled productivity initiatives where appropriate
-IT Leadership: Take a leading role within the department, guiding project teams and supporting effective collaboration across business and technology functions
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- IT Project Management: Minimum 10+ years of experience managing IT project teams comprising 10 or more members
- Enterprise Systems Implementation: Proven experience introducing and implementing new IT services, enterprise applications, or business systems
- Project Delivery & PMO: Strong understanding of IT project execution, governance, scheduling, resource coordination, risk management, and stakeholder communication
- Business & Technology Collaboration: Ability to understand business requirements, coordinate technical stakeholders, and drive IT solutions from planning through implementation
- Approximately 5 years of experience preparing system requirements specifications and functional/technical requirements documentation
- Experience managing large-scale system implementation projects
- Experience implementing or integrating international IT solutions
- Strong stakeholder management, solution proposal, communication, and execution capabilities
- Exposure to enterprise digital transformation, cloud/SaaS adoption, and emerging technologies
- Japanese level: Fluent Level
- English level: Fluent Level

Company Details:
One of Japan's leading integrated energy companies, operating across petroleum exploration, refining, fuel distribution, renewable energy, hydrogen, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), and electricity generation.
Working Hours: 9:00-17:30 (Mon ~ Fri)
Working Style: 5 days’ Work from Office (1-day WFH post completion of training)
Holidays: Every Saturday and Sunday, national holidays, May Day, New Year's holidays, and company anniversary. If an employee works 80% or more of their scheduled working days, they will be granted 21 days of paid leave on April 1st each year. *In the first year, the number of days corresponding to the month of joining will be granted on the day of joining. *Other leave systems are available, such as refresh leave and special leave.
