A Global Financial firm is looking for a Senior Governance, Risk & Compliance (Technology) professional. 
This role will lead and own technology risk and IT control remediation initiatives in Japan, operating at the intersection of Technology, Information Security, Risk, Audit, and the Business. 

Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance technology governance frameworks and control standards
- Lead identification, assessment, and manage technology and cybersecurity risks across Japan operation
- Drive IT risk assessments, control testing, and remediation tracking from issue scoping and prioritization through tracking and closure validation
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Technology, Information Security, Risk, Audit, and business teams to design and implement sustainable risk mitigation controls
- Support internal and external audit activities and regulatory inspections by risk acceptance decision where appropriate
- Partner with technology, security, and business teams to implement effective risk mitigation controls
- Define and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and compliance reporting dashboards

Required skills:
- Minimally 10 years of experience in GRC, IT Risk, or Technology Compliance roles with 5 years’ experience conducting risk assessments, control testing, and gap analysis

Working Hours:  08:40 – 17:40
Workstyle: By principle, it will be 1 day working in office, 4 days working from home (Depending on nature of the job, it will be decided by department head)
