Description
A Global Financial firm is seeking a Mid-level QA Engineers to contribute to the quality assurance and test automation efforts for critical membership platform services, including user registration, login, user profile management, and fault prevention features.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with developers and cross-functional teams while contributing to test design, execution, and automation initiatives.
It is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented QA professional who is eager to grow into a Senior QA Engineer or SDET role.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements and create test cases and test scenarios.
- Execute functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Identify, report, and track defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Validate bug fixes and ensure overall product quality.
- Contribute to test planning and estimation under guidance of senior members.
- Help identify test scope, risks, and dependencies.
- Participate in release validation and smoke testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing.
- Work within existing automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber).
- Support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Improve test coverage through automation.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, test reviews, and defect triage.
- Communicate testing progress and risks clearly.
- Suggest improvements to test processes and test coverage.
- Learn and adopt new tools, technologies, and testing practices.
- Contribute to building a quality-focused team culture.
Required skills:
- 2–5 years of experience in software QA for web applications.
- Experience in functional and regression testing.
- Basic experience in test automation (UI and API).
- Familiarity with tools like Selenium, Postman, or similar.
- Basic programming or scripting knowledge (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
