Description
A global IT services company is looking for a Project Manager to join the team launching a new e-commerce service targeting younger audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Project Manager for a large-scale new service launch exceeding 1,000 person-months, driving progress tracking, risk mitigation, and issue resolution
- Project Planning: Define goals, plan milestones and critical paths, manage internal and external dependencies, create testing and release plans, and build schedules
- Project Execution & Monitoring: Make key decisions, manage processes, track tasks, and handle scope changes
- Communication: Manage stakeholders, drive project momentum, coordinate communications and reporting with all parties involved
- Risk Management and Mitigation
- Issue Management and Resolution Facilitation
- Continuous improvement of project management practices and implementation of action plans
Required skills：
- Proven experience as the main project manager on large-scale initiatives
- Strong knowledge of software development processes and methodologies
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Ability to manage issues and risks with a strong sense of urgency
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to minimize communication gaps among stakeholders
- Proficiency in reporting, presentations, and meeting facilitation
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and other project management tools
- Leadership mindset and proactive ownership
- Strong commitment to driving projects to successful completion
- Experience working with engineers, product managers, and business partners
