Virtusa is looking for a bilingual Project Manager to support IT projects in Japan and coordinate closely with both Japanese stakeholders and international delivery teams.

This role is suitable for someone with several years of project coordination or project management experience who is comfortable working in a global environment and wants to grow into a broader Project Manager role.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and manage day-to-day IT project activities.
• Coordinate between Japanese customers, internal stakeholders, and international delivery teams.
• Track project schedules, tasks, risks, issues, and action items.
• Organize meetings and prepare project updates, reports, and documentation.
• Support requirement clarification and communication between business and technical teams.
• Follow up with project members to ensure milestones and deliverables stay on track.
• Support senior Program Managers and delivery leaders when required.
• Help maintain project governance and communication across teams.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in Project Management, Project Coordination, PMO, Scrum Master, or similar roles.
• Experience supporting IT or technology-related projects.
• Good stakeholder coordination and communication skills.
• Comfortable working with both Japanese and international teams.
• Native Japanese.
• Fluent English.
• Strong organization, documentation, and follow-up skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with offshore or global development teams.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Teams, or similar platforms.
• Experience in consulting, system integration, software development, or enterprise IT environments.
