Description
A Global IT Service firm is seeking a Project Manager for its PMO Division.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a scrum team of 10-20 members and drive the delivery of OKRs according to the roadmap
- Lead the agile transformation, including the implementation and improvement of the development process
- Plan and deliver projects, including goal setting, milestone and critical path planning, managing internal/external project dependencies, testing and release planning, budgeting, and scheduling
- Manage communication with stakeholders, ensure smooth communication among project members, and provide reports
- Identify and manage project risks
- Resolve issues and manage problem resolution
- Continuously improve project management best practices
- Mentor and onboard new team members for project governance
Required Skills:
- 5+ years’ experience as project manager for large-scale software development projects
- Knowledge of software development technologies
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent ability to work as a team player
- Exceptional skills in managing issues and risks
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills to minimize communication gaps between stakeholders
- Strong abilities in reporting, presentation, and meeting facilitation
- Expertise in project management tools such as Jira/Confluence
- Ability to quickly learn and a proactive leadership mindset
- Strong commitment to completing projects successfully
- Experience working directly with software engineers, product managers, and business partners
